- Add besan flour.
- Add cumin powder, asafoetida and salt and mix well. The batter should not be watery or too thick.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Once the oil is hot, drop spoonful of the batter gently in the hot oil. Fry few at a time. Fry until the fritters are golden brown all around.
- Drain it in kitchen towel to absorb the excess oil.
- Moong Dal Fritters are ready. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or any sauce or chutney of your choice.
